The Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems surveys, which between Jan.1 and Dec. 31, 2014 asked patients to rate their experience at Georgia hospitals, has been released. The patients are asked for their opinions at end of their hospital care.
Seven Georgia hospitals (out of 309 nationally) earned five stars. Six hospitals received one star. Poor scores can result in lower reimbursement rates from Medicare under the government’s value-based purchasing program, according to the survey.
