A traffic stop led police to bust a “sophisticated” credit card manufacturing operation in Glendale, CA that yielded hundreds of fraudulent credit cards, as well as materials to make them, officials said.
Last Thursday evening, police stopped the car for an equipment violation and noticed the two passengers in the back matched the description of two suspects who, the day before, had stolen more than $4,000 worth of handbags from Barneys New York at the Americana at Brand, said Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.
